Swamini Saradapriyananda Subject: Let go your ego Long long ago somebody whispered in my ears saying "let go your ego"... my heart fluttered and my eyes filled with tears, not with sorrow but with joy. For I am told that -- this is the key to open the doors of eternity... A passionate search has come to an end, Lo! I stood in front of the door - of the kingdom of eternity, of the kingdom of absolute bliss, of the kingdom that is shown by Vedas, of the kingdom that is witnessed by all great seers. And the only thing left for me is to use the key called "let go your ego" Dear Lord, I am told that finding the key - is not that difficult. But opening the doors - takes a lot of strength and courage. I am also told that - opening the door might take a lot of time... I don't mind my Lord, let it take its own time.... perhaps another second perhaps another minute perhaps another hour perhaps another day perhaps another week perhaps another month perhaps another year perhaps another death perhaps another birth perhaps another lifecycle of brahma.... I beg you my Lord, Let me not give up... I beg you my Lord, give me the strength to hold this key. I beg you my Lord, give me the courage to withstand the obstacles enroot. I beg you my Lord, allow me to open the door of your kingdom. I pray you my Lord, the only thing left for me is to open the door.
